Walks :

THE BOTANICAL TRAIL, Bonnieux - 2 hours
his circuit takes you to the north of the Luberon through the forest

Depart from the Cedars Forest car park, walk about 200m and then take the left path marked ‘ Sentier Botanique’ This walk will take approximately 2 hours. The path has 8 points where there is information describing the richness of the flora of the Luberon. Three quarters way through you will discover a magnificent panorama over the Durance valley. On a clear day you can see the Etang de Berre shining in the distance. Coming back, you walk under the cedar trees again.

THE VINEYARD TRAIL , Oppède - 1 h 30
Depart from the car park at Oppède le Vieux- this is a walk which is marked out at five points with descriptions of the vine and its wine.

WATER TRAIL , Oppède - 2 h 30
Water is a source of life and a major element in our daily existence. At Oppède, as in other villages (Bonnieux, Lacoste…), we can admire the effort of man to bring water nearer to where he lives.

During this walk you can discover the patrimony connected to water; fountains, public wash places, windmills. Also, a network of channels flow through the land,(dug and built into the hillside and fields), taking water from natural springs or small rivers, to bring water to homes, public wash places and fields.

Across the Small Luberon: « the crètes circuit » 14 km
Depart from the Cedar Forest car park
The Route des Crètes has hardly any uneven parts and is accessible to everyone- ideal with children as there are no other vehicles on this little tarmacked road. You will ride under the cedar trees and then go out into the open where you will have a superb panorama over the Ventoux mountain and the Valley of the Durance.

« Around the Luberon » 40 km
Depart Bonnieux in the direction of the Cedar Forest and follow the Route des Crètes to cross the Coomb of Vidauque. Then follow the sign to Les Taillades. To go back, follow the signposts around the Luberon; Robion and Maubec passing through the villages of Oppède, Ménerbes, Lacoste and returning to Bonnieux.
